Handling CNAME in TXT requests - why not?

                          Hi all!
C-ares do not handle CNAME in TXT requests. It handles CNAME in A, AAAA and PTR requests only.

Unfortunately this prevents DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) feature from working because it uses TXT-type records.

Some mail servers, including Microsoft’s one, recommend to use CNAME record for DKIM (e.g. TXT-type) records:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/en-en/library/mt695945(v=exchg.150).aspx#Publish2CNAME
(“ For each domain for which you want to add a DKIM signature in DNS, you need to publish two  CNAME  records. ”)
Could you please answer some questions:

   1.   Why no CNAME support for TXT requests?

   2.   Are you going to add CNAME support for TXT requests soon?

   3.   When new version of library could be released?

With best regards,
Vasily Starostin.
