I don't own nor program for iPhone, but I do maintain c-ares. It seems you
develop for the iphone so it seems suitable that you tell us iphone specific
stuff and we/I tell you c-ares specific stuff and maybe we can work things
out?

That's crucial informatiob that needs to be figured out to make c-ares work
properly on the iPhone. I don't think this mailing list is the best place to
do it on.
