Well, I'd say there are at least two reasons:
- ares came with these man pages already in nroff format
- I have no problems with nroff as a source format. Thus converting to
something else would just be work for me with no obvious extra benefit.
What would you say are the biggest gains we'd get by changing source format?
I'm not particularly against it, I'm just curious.
