Attached is a small patch for ares_init.c preparing to add support
for more types of lookup (mdns, lwres, etc). It's just a bit of
groundwork.
I was considering volunteering to add support for lwres
(Lightweight Resolver) protocol. It's dropped from my todo list,
so I'm clearing the bits of preparation work that may be useful to
others.
There's a second patch in Debian's BTS, which adds a little more
towards lwres support.
